(October university for modern sciences and arts, 2022) Ibrahim, Aya; Khaled, Engy; Alaa, Ziad
The main objective of this paper is to examine the effect of internal control on financial performance taking into consideration the audit quality as a moderating variable, as well firm age and size as control variables. The independent variable contains the risk assessment, control activities, control environment, monitoring, and information and communication. These components are measured by the control environment quality index. Furthermore, the dependent variable which is the financial performance is measured by Return on Assets (ROA), which is net profit divided by total assets. Moreover, the moderating variable is measured by a Dummy variable, while firm size and age are both measured by Natural Logarithm. A sample of 31 companies that are non-financial institutions listed in the Egyptian Stock Market from 2017 – 2021. The statistical techniques used in testing the hypotheses are descriptive analysis, regression analysis, and Pearson’s correlation. The results of the study indicate that there is a positive significant relation between internal control and financial performance.

Logical Design of Information System for Smart Queue Banking System
(October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, 2022) Mohamed, Abdullah; Farid, Marwa
Smart banking queue management is a System that will be added to the bank's already existing application or website. Having long queues in banks is standard, when a client goes to the bank to make any transaction or operation that cannot be done online, they go to the bank and choose what type of service they want then wait in line for the number to be served. This led to the problem that the bank is crowded with people waiting for their turn. Another issue is that bank clients don't know how much will they wait or if the bank branch they are going to is crowded or not, which leads to the clients not being able to organize their time or being late for an important appointment as well as elderly clients who have to go to the bank also can't wait there for a long time. Another issue which is mostly mental is that when the bank is crowded, the employees that work there become stressed. To eliminate all these difficulties and make visiting the bank a smooth experience the smart banking queue management feature will make clients be able to see which branch of the bank is less crowded and be able to reserve the service or operation they want to do from their mobile application before they go to the bank. After choosing what they want to do at the bank the application will then display their number and the number that is currently served, another thing is that the application will send a notification to the client when they are next in line to be ready. The system will use radio frequency identification (RFID) to fill the client`s data to save time in the que and make it as efficient as possible and will use Quick Response code (QR) device that will be scanned at the teller to display the ticket number, the application will also include Global Positioning System (GPS) for when the client chooses the desired branch.

Logical design of information system to hospital emergency system
(October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, 2022) Mohamed Mahmoud Aly Tawfik, Mahmoud; Mohamed Taher Hassan Nafe, Marwan
The emergency system main objective is to facilitate the activity of patients to find the nearest hospital that is ready to receive them and has vacant available room. Simply, the system will show the hospital vacancies 4 availability automated by checking in and out the patients from room automatically using the IOT technology and with the integration of IOT technology devices. Patients will easily use the Application to find the nearest hospital based on their current location and not just the nearest hospital but a list of the nearest hospitals to their location that has vacant and unoccupied rooms and can receive their case immediately. This will also include ICU (Intensive care unit) beds, especially that ICU beds in most hospitals are usually limited, occupied, and get a huge need and demand mostly in critical cases. Just imagine having an app that makes it so easy and time saving when time is the most important and value thing at this point. Finding a hospital and easily arriving at it as the app provide information as location of the hospital and other attributes. Furthermore, hospitals can easily manage their vacant rooms and be aware of the numbers of patients, their current real-time location and even being able to store data on the IOT device that will be discussed, which is the RFID Tag and easily retrieve the info in no time, data as credentials for example. On the larger scope having such system used by many hospitals the distribution of patient will be more structured, by which means we will not find hospitals that are not even half occupied despite being good and other hospitals over occupying patients more than their capabilities and vacancies.

Logical Design of Information System to Facilitate the Loan Application Process of Drivers
(October university for modern sciences and arts, 2022) Khaled, Farida; Tamer, Habiba
The banking sector in Egypt is striving towards digital transformation and internet banking in specific. This project will be tackling the banking sector where it is solving a problem related to loans and providing a third-party digital platform for easing the loaning process. The main motive of the proposed system is to ease the loaning process for drivers belonging to a service provider (Uber, Careem, SWVL, etc.) by providing them with proof of having a stable monthly income which is a necessary criterion for applying for a loan in any bank in Egypt. The system will work in collaboration with a bank where the bank provides loans to these drivers. In the initial phase of the project, the system will be applied on one service provider system and one bank, however, it is subject to becoming a multi-tenant system in the future. As mentioned, this system will provide a third-party platform (web application) where the driver inputs his service provider credentials, the system will calculate his credit score that determines whether he is approved on the stable monthly income criteria of the loan application process. The driver score will be calculated using variables like number of trips per month, net income per month, average working hours per month, and average customer rating that will be extracted from the service provider’s database. The driver score calculation will also use variables like the highest speed that the driver reached, and the number of times that the driver did maintenance to the car which will be tracked through sensors embedded in the car. This project assumes that all devices embedded to measure driving behavior exist before the driver loan application process by at least 1 year. The system will assess these variables through a predefined algorithm and calculate the driver’s credit score which determines whether or not he fills out the stable monthly income criteria. The system also provides the drivers with the facility to book the bank appointment through the web application to submit their legal documents and will notify the bank that the driver’s “monthly income” criteria is approved for the desired loan amount.

Assessing the impact of banking incentives in Egypt on economic growth
(October university for modern sciences and arts, 2022) Mohamed, Marwan
Governments have created a wide range of policies and tactics over the years in an effort to increase economic growth, living standards, and overall quality of life. Academics have tried to determine what elements, if any, most influence the success or failure of small and medium-sized firms in a number of study projects (SMEs). Government aid and incentives can take many different forms, including as tax rebates, banker bonuses, loan and interest rate guarantees, and more. SMEs usually look for outside support and resources, such bank incentives, to ensure their long-term viability. Small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) have a natural tendency to innovate, thus banks ought to help them. In order to examine and explain the effect of banking incentives in Egypt on economic growth, this article will use time series data analysis that spans the years 1990 to 2020. Real interest rate, inflation rate, gross savings, domestic lending to the private sector, and IBRD loans are used as independent variables in various experiments to see how they affect the dependent variable, economic growth. Also, the paper employed the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model and ordinary least squares regression (OLS). According to the findings, Egypt's real interest rate and inflation have a negative influence on economic growth, which is supported by empirical research, while Egypt's gross savings have a positive impact on economic growth, which is also supported by research. Previous empirical findings indicating IBRD loans have a favourable influence on economic growth in Egypt and that domestic credit to the private sector does not have a negative impact on economic growth in Egypt are not supported

(October university for modern sciences and arts, 2022) Yasser, Nouran; Raafat, Andrew
This study uses data from a few chosen European nations from 2008 to 2020 to examine how financial inclusion affects economic growth in those nations. Currently, the financial industry has expanded globally and has ingrained itself into peoples' daily lives. The number of commercial bank branches, the population, carbon dioxide emissions, and mobile cellular subscriptions are the variables employed in this study to quantify financial inclusion as we investigate their impact on GDP growth. Meanwhile, in the six chosen European countries, CO2 emissions have a negative, considerable influence on GDP growth. As a result, we advise policymakers in European nations to step up their efforts to broaden public access to financial institutions and to advance the idea of financial inclusion in their nations because doing so will boost GDP growth rates and raise citizens' living standards.
