Item Analyzing the impact of Free Cash Flow on Firm Performance(October university for modern sciences and arts MSA, 2024) Mohamed, Nouran Ahmed; Mohamed, Nada AhmedAbstract: The aim of this research is to examine the impact of free cash flow on firm performance through the mediating effect of dividend policy also, to examine the moderating effect of agency cost on the relationship between the free cash flow and firm performance. An empirical analysis on the non-financial firms listed in EGX 100 from 2013 to 2022 was applied in Egypt. Free cash flow was the independent variable and it was measured by free cash flow equation which is deducting taxes, interest expenses, common stock dividends, operating cash flow, and preferred stock dividends all divided by net sales. While, form performance was the dependent variable and it was measured by stock return as market-based measurement and by return on assets as an accounting-based measurement. The generalized method of moments (GMM) panel estimate method was conducted for examining 610 observations during the selected time span. The findings demonstrated that free cash flow significantly increase the firm performance as a company with strong cash flow usually brings in additional investors, which will raise the company's capital. Moreover, the research analyzed that agency cost significantly moderates the relationship between free cash flow and firm performance.Item Aptitude test for high school graduates(October university for modern sciences and arts, 2018) Abd El Samea, Ziad AliWe talk here about a idea that we want to see it on real life. the system that we want to create will help in the education system . by make everyone know what is he good for and will give for it the maximum effort . this will happened when the person have test in the industry he want it or he like it . the test that he will take it will be in period of time to make sure that will not be cheating . after he take the test will get a feedback to let him know if he good in this industry or no . there is same systems around the world but offline. this systems helped the countries to improve there education system . in this system we want to give the chance to all the people to know if they are good or they are want to develop themselves.Item Assessing the Effect of Credit Risk on Egyptian Non-Financial Companies’ Financial Performance(October university for modern sciences and arts MSA, 2024) Alsayed, Ahmed Yasser; Mahmoud, Gasser AhmedThe purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of credit risk on financial performance in Egyptian non-financial firms between 2013 and 2022. This study used Altman’s Z-Score as an inverse measure of credit risk, return on assets and return on equity as measures of financial performance, in addition to using control variables leverage and liquidity. The study also aims to examine the indirect effect of operational efficiency as a mediator and the moderating effect of firm size on the relationship between credit risk and financial performance. The fixed effects regression model is used to analyse the panel data, 77 non-financial firms listed in EGX-100 were chosen as the subject of this study to investigate this relationship between 2013-2022 but based on the availability of data only 57 companies were used for a total of 570 observations. The findings revealed that Altman’s Z-Score had a positive and significant relationship with financial performance, while operational efficiency negatively and significantly affected financial performance, and liquidity had a positive and significant effect on financial performance. On the other hand, firm size was found to have an insignificant effect on the relationship between credit risk and financial performance. It is recommended that non-financial firms diversify their revenues to include different currencies to avoid currency crises or economic instability that may occur in Egypt. The results of this study were supported by the portfolio theory and the signaling theory.Item Assessing the impact of banking incentives in Egypt on economic growth(October university for modern sciences and arts, 2022) Mohamed, MarwanGovernments have created a wide range of policies and tactics over the years in an effort to increase economic growth, living standards, and overall quality of life. Academics have tried to determine what elements, if any, most influence the success or failure of small and medium-sized firms in a number of study projects (SMEs). Government aid and incentives can take many different forms, including as tax rebates, banker bonuses, loan and interest rate guarantees, and more. SMEs usually look for outside support and resources, such bank incentives, to ensure their long-term viability. Small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) have a natural tendency to innovate, thus banks ought to help them. In order to examine and explain the effect of banking incentives in Egypt on economic growth, this article will use time series data analysis that spans the years 1990 to 2020. Real interest rate, inflation rate, gross savings, domestic lending to the private sector, and IBRD loans are used as independent variables in various experiments to see how they affect the dependent variable, economic growth. Also, the paper employed the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model and ordinary least squares regression (OLS). According to the findings, Egypt's real interest rate and inflation have a negative influence on economic growth, which is supported by empirical research, while Egypt's gross savings have a positive impact on economic growth, which is also supported by research. Previous empirical findings indicating IBRD loans have a favourable influence on economic growth in Egypt and that domestic credit to the private sector does not have a negative impact on economic growth in Egypt are not supportedItem Assessing the Impact of Financial Inclusion on Economic Growth – Evidence from Selected European Countries(October university for modern sciences and arts, 2022) Yasser, Nouran; Raafat, AndrewThis study uses data from a few chosen European nations from 2008 to 2020 to examine how financial inclusion affects economic growth in those nations. Currently, the financial industry has expanded globally and has ingrained itself into peoples' daily lives. The number of commercial bank branches, the population, carbon dioxide emissions, and mobile cellular subscriptions are the variables employed in this study to quantify financial inclusion as we investigate their impact on GDP growth. Meanwhile, in the six chosen European countries, CO2 emissions have a negative, considerable influence on GDP growth. As a result, we advise policymakers in European nations to step up their efforts to broaden public access to financial institutions and to advance the idea of financial inclusion in their nations because doing so will boost GDP growth rates and raise citizens' living standards.Item Assessing the Impact of Investor Sentiment on the G7 Stock Markets Performance(October university for modern sciences and arts MSA, 2024) Walaa Eldin, Arwa; Mohamed, HabibaThis research aimed to investigate the impact of investor sentiment on stock market performance in G7 countries from 2005 to 2023. The investor sentiment was measured by the global indices of investors’ optimism “CCI”, and the investor fear “VIX”, while utilizing COVID-19 as a moderator and geopolitical risk measured by the GPR index as a control variable. The sample of data collected the monthly stock returns for the main indices for each of the G7 countries from January 2005 to October 2023. Overall, the research employed a fixed effect regression model “FEM” to attain its findings. The results of the models showed a significant positive impact of investor optimism on the G7 stock market returns, while a significant negative impact on VIX, even with the moderating effect of COVID-19. However, the control variable geopolitical risk was statistically insignificant, so it did not impact the G7 stock market returns statistically and COVID-19 was significant as a dummy variable. Thus, it was concluded that investor sentiment significantly impacts the G7 stock market returns.Item Atmospherics of Egyptian historical places and its impact on intention to revisit(October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, 2023) Hisham, Feryal; Ahmed, Azza; Ehab, FaridaThis study investigates the role of atmospherics in Egyptian historical places and its impact on visitors' intention to revisit. Atmospherics refer to the environmental elements that contribute to the overall sensory experience and ambiance of a place. Understanding the influence of atmospherics on visitors' intentions to revisit is crucial for heritage site managers and tourism professionals to enhance visitor experiences and promote sustainable tourism. The purpose of this research is to explore the specific atmospheric factors that significantly influence visitors' intention to revisit Egyptian historical places. The study employs a mixedmethods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, to capture a comprehensive understanding of visitors' experiences and their intentions to revisit. The findings reveal several key atmospheric factors that significantly influence visitors' intention to revisit Egyptian historical places. These factors include internal, external, and social factors. The originality of this study lies in its focus on atmospherics and their impact on visitors' intention to revisit Egyptian historical places. While previous research has explored various aspects of heritage tourism, limited attention has been given to the specific atmospheric factors and their effects on visitor behavior. The value of this study lies in its practical implications for heritage site managers and tourism professionals. By understanding the significance of atmospherics, managers can strategically design and manage historical places to create memorable and meaningful experiences for visitors. This, in turn, can positively influence visitors' intention to revisit, leading to increased tourism revenue and sustainable preservation of Egypt's rich cultural heritage.Item Audit Committee Attributes and Timeliness of Corporate Financial Reports(MSA Accounting Graduation Projects - MSA Library, 2022) Sabry, Hedaia; waleed, Mohammed; waleed, YoussefThis study examines the impact of Audit committee attributes on the timeliness of corporate financial reports. The study uses a sample of firms listed in EGX100 for year (2016-2019). To test the research hypotheses, descriptive analysis, person’s correlation and regression analysis are used. Result show that audit committee gender affects timeliness of financial reports. However, audit committee size, meeting and independence have no effect on timeliness of financial reports.Item Auto scheduling system(October University of Modern Sciences and Arts, 2018) Sameh Mohammed Shalaby, MohammedAuto scheduling system is an application that helps any educational institution to auto schedules their courses. This system will help its users to manage their schedules easily. It allows the users to set the number of the slots in schedule and the duration of the lecture. Also it will have a future that will allow the institution to re-schedule the courses to the rooms and labs according to its capacity. In my project, I used the object-oriented method to apply this opportunity by creating use case model, class model, sequence model and activity model. The use case model represents the actors that will use the system and services (which are defined requirements in the scope) they will use. The class model is a simulation of the reality when the user is performing the operations, which are services in the use case. The classes can be defined as components which collaborate with each other to make the operations in each class. Sequence model describes the interactions between classes in terms of an exchange of messages and replies. It's a good way to visualize the scenarios that can help in discovering the responsibilities a class may need to have in the process of modeling a new system. The last model is the activity model which shows the flow and the sequence of activities that users will perform in the system. This diagram will help the programmer in understanding the flow of processes and it will become easier to implement and develop the system. Moreover, from the activity diagram, we can discover the screens that will appear to the users which they will interact with.Item Available Recipes Application(MSA UNIVERSITY, 2021) AHMED HANAAELDIN, MOHAMED; SAID ELBAHI, MOHAMEDThis project’s name is Available recipes application. If homeowners have the necessary knowledge and time, they will be able to do these tasks by their own. However, if these tasks weren’t done properly, homeowners may face further issues in the future. Therefore, homeowners tend to hire professional handyman in their local market to properly and professionally do these tasks for them. Nowadays, homeowners face a lot of obstacles while trying to find a qualified handyman to do the required tasks. First, most homeowners may not have the time to search for a handyman in their local market due to their daily jobs or their late nights at work. Second, there are no general guidelines and rules on the fees and prices of all handymen services in the local market. Finally, many unqualified handymen can be found in the local market. As a result, this proposed project is intended to solve all of these problems by providing smart and modern solutions through the various features and systems of the application. This project is a Booking Application for Homeowners and Handymen built on modern and advanced technologies. The proposed application will connect homeowners with their desired handymen according to their profession fields. This application is intended to be a one-stop solution to quickly, professionally and conveniently sort all the needs of homeowners, ranging from civil construction to maintenance work. In addition, it will help all handymen to easily find job offers posted by homeowners. Homeowners will be able to conveniently book verified and qualified professionals in multiple fields, such as plumbers, electricians, carpenters, constructors and more. Since the requirements, major constraints and assumptions of the application are well known and clearly defined, the waterfall model will be used in the development of this application since it is best suited to the nature of the application as well as having all the necessary procedures and requirements well documented in advance. Finally, multiple UML diagrams, such as use case, class, sequence and activity diagrams, will be used to illustrate the behavior and structure of the application as well as providing a concise and clear way to helps all teams, programmers and non-programmers, to properly communicate with each other.Item Capital mobility in MENA and OECD: A panel comparative study(MSA UNIVERSITY, 2021) Amr, Layla; Galal, ZeinabFirst and foremost, we would express our deepest and sincerest gratitude for our supervisor Prof. Dr. Heba Helmy for her constant reassurance and guidance throughout this project. It is going to be a platform having the base of it as its users; the main users are the client and the host. The host is going to be a car owner who is willing to gain some extra money on the side while benefiting the clients as well by renting/lending his car for a value of money, since transportation is very important and local transportation methods are not always suitable for everyone especially for users who are always on the go, depending on their usage. Car rental reservations will have a start date and an ending date with the prerequisites of the host to have a license for the car itself and an official car safety check from the car’s official maintenance center. The client on the other hand has to have a personal license in order to be able to register an account on the application’s server. The rental price is going to be matched based on class criteria, the higher the class the higher the price is. The application will match the hosts with clients based on their historical rating throughout the usage of applications. Ratings will be out of 5 and calculated by a total average of a user’s total ratings. This project/application will meet the needs of anyone who is stuck in the public transportation hole; while making it more flexible for the users on both sides. It will also ease the method of payment as it will have various ways to pay with whatever suits both parties of the agreement.Item A comparative study of the financial performance of Islamic, conventional, and mixed banks(MSA UNIVERSITY, 2021) Osama, Mostafa Mohamed; Mahrous, Mirna Ghareeb; Barakat, Mayar Mohamed; Abdullati, Rawan ZiadThe primary goal of this study is to examine independent variables, liquidity risk, capital adequacy, assets quality, operation efficiency and bank size have any impact on banks performance. Applied on: Adidas(October University of Modern Sciences and Arts, 2019) Hassanein, Mahmoud; Ranadan, Salema; Ahmed, SaraNowadays people tend to spend time shopping as a substitute to other hobbies and activities. During the shopping process people are exposed to hundreds and thousands of brands and all of them have their own selling strategies and techniques, the amount of ads, billboards, emails, offers and promotions consumers are exposed to makes most of the brands seem unnoticed to many consumers, therefore marketers started to advertise in a different way which is to focus on the motives on consumers and make the consumer feel incomplete without their products to create the need to make a purchase. Following the success of Mohamed Salah, Adidas chose Mohamed Salah because he is a role model to the next generation, and how big could they go. Adidas started putting Salah in advertisements, billboards; even releasing his own shoe line, the main goal behind this campaign was to promote Adidas’s products which surely have succeeded in Egypt and worldwide. Celebrity endorsement is a strategy used to enhance the brand image, and associate the brand with the figure’s personal image, which can either bring lots of success or backfire on the brand. The strategy we are focusing on in our study is persuasion techniques. Whether the seller is trying to persuade or manipulate depending on their beliefs whether consumers wants or needs their product. When the salesperson genuinely believes that the consumer needs it, their intentions are good. It can’t possibly be manipulation; it can be considered as persuading the consumer by the seller’s product rather than any other product. Mainly, manipulation is successfully influencing and changing consumer’s choice, however; the goal is the same whether the company is persuading or manipulating consumers, is to encourage and increase the purchase intention, the purchase intention is the willingness of a consumer to purchase a certain product, therefore, we intend to assess and study how the store atmosphere affects the consumer’s behavior towards purchasing.Item Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure and Bank Performance: The Moderating Role of Governance Mechanisms(October University For Modern Sciences and Arts, 2022) Ehab, Aya; Mohamed, Malak; Samir, Mayada; Ahmed, Sarah; Mohamed, YoussefThis study aims to examine the effect of corporate social responsibility practices on banks performance.
