Item Design of Semi-Automatic Palletizing Machine(October university for modern sciences and arts, 2020) Iskandar, Mark Adel Fikry; El Sharkawy, Saad WagdyPalletizers are machines for material handling, they are used for pallets loading either for storage or before or after shipping. Pallet loads are used for mass shipping, distributing or consolidating tiny products to larger packages easy to handle. The project objective is to design and manufacture a prototype of can palletizing machine that simulate the real application for automatic machine. Data collection of a facility of cans production line will be done to collect data concerning can dimensions and weight. This collected data will be used for design purposes. The palletizing machine will save a lot of money, time and effort and insure a continuous automatic process without any obstacles. The use of pallets as a base for unit loads offers many benefits compared to un-palletized handling that result from the more efficient handling of goods. These include: • Dramatically reduced labor requirement versus manual handling • Less risk of product damage • Reduced risk of worker injury • More efficient material handling and storage.Item Rosetta Exploratorium of Narratives(October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, 2020) Fahmy, Mirna SamirRosetta is a city located on one of the main branches of the Nile Delta. One of the factories, located in Sadat city focused on producing small granules that contains Mono-Calcium Phosphate (MCP) as a main ingredient for poultry industry which is suitable for providing poultry with calcium and phosphorus that promotes forming hard backbone and skeleton. Production of Mono-Calcium Phosphate (MCP) pass through several sequential processes using many equipment like Mixer, Dryer, Cooler, Crasher, Vibrator and other components. After testing several samples of the final product, it was found that the ratios and distribution of the Calcium and Phosphor components in the samples are not homogeneous and deviate from the standard ratios. The objective of this project is focused on improvement of the homogeneity and distribution of the calcium and phosphor ingredients in the final product by studying all parameters and factors that may create the fluctuation of their percentages. There are many factors that may affect the homogeneity of the final product such as the mixing system, the moisture percentage. So, many tests are conducted on samples taken in each stage of manufacturing processes, namely after mixing stages, after granulator and after drying processes. The testing results of samples taken at the end of the mixing process showed percentage fluctuation and non-homogeneous distribution while after drying process some of samples which contains low moisture contents showed homogeneous distribution of ingredients. When more samples of low moisture were tested, it showed better homogeneity which confirm that the drying process is the main parameter of fluctuation of Phosphorus and Calcium percentages in the final product. The improvement of the drying process was carried out by increasing the retention time of the product inside the dryer and decreasing the speed of the dryer by 15% from 2.9 to 2.46 RPM which achieved improvement in the homogeneity in the final product.Item Business trad center in Al - Sananya(MSA university, 2020) Ahmed, Abd El-Rahmanthe main idea of project is the method of dividing the block in a way that correlates with the elements or zones of project and then forming the resulting locks using the modern Islamic architectural style as shown in the following picture , there is one block and then it is divided into three blocks (zones ), with are the main elements of the project tacking into account view the general location and focus on the landscape of the river area was done by placing a fourth block over the three main blocksItem Equestrian complex(October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, 2020) Adel, MinaThe multidimensional soil shape has provided flexibility to the current design and helped creating dynamic yet functional spaces which provides different special interesting experiences.Item Design and Manufacturing a Prototype Machine for Production of 3D Printing Filaments Using Recycled Plastics(October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, 2020) Mohamed, Mohamed Sabri; Akawy, Wesam AhmedPlastic waste has negative economic and environmental impacts. By using a suitable recycling process, it could be repurposed and reused in different applications. One of most interesting application is to produce the 3D printing filaments. This project aims to designing and manufacturing a prototype machine that used for the possibility of producing 3D printing filaments from the recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate Polymers (PET/PETE) which is widely used in water bottles. The recycled plastics will be supplied in forms of pellets which is to be fed to the machine through a hoper. The process consists of two main stages, the first stage is melting of the pellets by heating at specified temperature and then the molt will be extruded through a die which has the shape of the required filament size. The second stage is the cooling and wrapping the output filament, in which the cooling will be executed by passing the continuous filaments in a cooling liquid such as water and then exposed to two side fans to complete the cooling process and the then rapped on rolls. The output filaments will be used in a 3D printer to print tensile test specimens and some printed samples. The tensile test samples will be used to measure the properties, mainly the ductility, of the output filaments to be compared with the used filaments in the market. The production of 3D print filaments may save lot of money and insure the concepts of green manufacturing system by producing a useful product with low cost and safe for environment.Item Web Matching System for Entrepreneurs and Investors(October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, 2020) Hassan, Abdallah Abdalaziz AliSmall and medium enterprises (SMEs) and startups are seen as a key source of economic growth, production and innovation. Nevertheless, the traditional funding sources’ supply, such as bank lending, venture capitals and angel investors, couldn’t fulfil the needed demand, resulting in the financing gap. Over time, several web platforms have come to the fore for the purpose of connecting entrepreneurs and investors together by using different systems, such as faceted search systems (FSSs) and automated investment systems (AISs). The FSSs enable investors to search for the entrepreneurs’ investment rounds by applying multiple facets and filters. The AISs automatically diversify the investors’ investments on multiple companies’ investment rounds created by the entrepreneurs. However, both of these systems have a high failure rate due to the category-driven results of the FSSs in addition to the limited offerings and the high-risk factors of the AISs. For these reasons, the proposed web platform tackles these issues by a newly developed artificial intelligence matching system using machine learning as well as natural language processing as its foundation. In which, the proposed system matches investors, entrepreneurs and partner-seekers together. The system provides intelligent data-driven matches one at a time, while continuously updating the data each time a user refuses or approves a match, leading to more attainable results. In this report, the planning, analysis and design stages of the proposed platform are introduced using the Waterfall software development life cycle (SDLC) model.Item Reducing Variability in Ceiling Fan Blades Manufacturing Process(October university for modern sciences and arts, 2020) Salih, Abdalla Nagimeldin Mohamed; Kassem, Menna Ali Abd El-HameedIn the name of Allah, the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful, all praises to Allah for the strengths and His blessing in completing this project. It manufactures more than 10 types of feed to cover the needs of WADI GROUP own farms, in addition to selling in the local Egyptian market. Poultry feed factories are responsible for producing animal feeds from mainly raw agricultural material and some nutritional vitamins. The final products are supposed to meet certain specifications to fulfil the nutritional need for animals at different life periods. The final product for poultry is shipped in the form of pelleted feeds for the convenience of consumption. The purpose of the project is improving production rates while maintaining quality specifications of the poultry feed factory final products. The improvement approach is conducted by observing the parameters related to the main issue of productivity, followed by trials on the selected parameters. Statistical analysis is then conducted on the results of the trials to observe the effect of the parameters. The comparison between the levels of parameters is done through analysis of variance to determine the significance of the tested parameters. The improvement of parameters was conducted through the use of Minitab and design expert software. The Quality specifications of the improved productivity is measured for comparison setting a control plan for the optimal quality standards. Documentation of the analysis and experimentations is used for determining the best optimal conditions for improving the production capacity and the process line.Item Smart School Bus Monitoring(October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, 2020) Alaa, YoussefIt is vital for every school to ensure safe transportation of their students to be trustworthy, secure and to gain a good reputation. School administration need to be continuously updated of their student’s situation and avoid any accidents. However, if an accident happen they should be able to contact parents, update them in real time and tackle the problem. This is where the smart school bus monitoring takes place. Students frequently get on the wrong bus which leads them to another direction. Students also, get off on the wrong stops causing their parents to panic by not arriving on exact time and place. Moreover, parents who are not present at home may not know if their child got home or not. In addition to this, drivers could pass the speed limit which may lead to accidents or changing their routes causing the parents to worry. Not to mention that, bus driver does not identify all the students, therefore he could leave one behind. The proposed system works by giving each student an RFID tag that contains student’s information which is accessed by a microcontroller when the student enters the bus and passes an RFID card reader. In addition to this, the system uses GPS technology in order to find the bus speed and geographic coordinates of the location it is currently at and uses GSM to send SMS to parents. Then, parents can access these information through a mobile application and contact the school administration if there’s any discomfort or a problem. School administration also have access to the mobile application to monitor the bus drivers and contact them to obtain student’s safety. Therefore, the proposed system provides real time tracking of buses and provides safety.Item Educational Center for Boat Manufaturing in Rosseta(October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, 2020) Nessim, NourThe Whole Concept is Inspired from The Struggle of How Boat Crafters Clashes With The Government to Obtain Their Legal Documents.Item Culture & Crafts Center(October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, 2020) Arafa, Mohamed MahmoudInspired from our rich culture motifs and Islamic pattern by using "square and pure forms" using indirect path inspired from majaz in Islamic architecture that will contribute a unique special experience for the usersItem The Revival of Papyrus Research Center(October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, 2020) Yehia Sobhy Ali, AyaPapyrus is Green Totaly It is made of Cyperus Papyrus Plants Which Is A Fast Growing Swamp Plants.Item Furniture Exhibition Center of Damietta(October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, 2020) Ismail, HazemItem The Sheller : Rosetta Heritage Complex(October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, 2020) Alaswadi, Marwa AbdelrahmanRosetta is one of the Egyptian cities with significant historical value. The special nature of carbon combines with the atomic flawlessness of single-wall CNTs to bless them with exceptional fabric properties, such as exceptionally tall warm and electrical conductivity, solidness, quality, and durability. It is the as it were component within the occasional table which bonds to itself in an expanded organize with the quality of the carbon-carbon bond. The delocalized pi-electron given by each iota is free to move about the full structure, rather than remaining with its benefactor iota, coming about within the to begin with known particle with metallic-type electrical conductivity. Additionally, an inherent warm conductivity higher than indeed jewel is advertised by the high-frequency carbon-carbon bond vibrations. In most materials, be that as it may, due to the event of absconds in their structure, the genuine watched fabric properties such as quality, electrical conductivity, and so on are debased exceptionally altogether. For illustration, high-strength steel regularly comes up short at as it were around 1% of its hypothetical breaking quality. In any case, CNTs accomplish values exceptionally close to their hypothetical limits owing to their atomic flawlessness of structure. This perspective is portion of the interesting story of CNTs. CNTs are cases of genuine nanotechnology: they are as it were approximately a nanometer in distance across, but are atoms that can be controlled physically and chemically in exceptionally valuable ways. They discover a mind blowing extend of applications in gadgets, materials science, vitality administration, chemical handling, and numerous other areas. The main goal of this project is to develop a complete design of an Arc Discharge (AD) machine for producing carbon nanotubes (CNT's) by using deionized water and extra pure graphite multiple electrodes 99.9% pure. The advantage of this design is to increase yield of CNTs within the experimental limitations, through the increase of the number of cathodes and anodes and by using an automatic feeding system for the electrodes, resulting in lower cost production.
