Abstract

Two series of Novel Mannich bases has been synthesized from chalcones 3 and 7 and evaluated for their in vitro cytotoxic activity. Out of the newly synthesized compounds, four derivatives 4a, 4b, 4e, 4f were selected by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to be evaluated for their in-vitro antitumor activity by in-vitro disease-oriented human cells screening panel assay. All the tested compounds exhibited a broad spectrum of antitumor activity against renal cancer UO-31.
