The project’s aim and objective are concerned with improving the productivity in harness production factory by reducing time waste. The factory is facing a problem in time balancing; the operations are not done in equal timing which causes time waste problems in utilization and production rate. This project focuses on analyzing different production line stages as defining exactly the main reasons of time waste. A suitable methodology will be applied such as Simo-chart, Ergonomics, and time analysis for the production line to achieve the balance that will help to reduce the time waste and increase the production rateItem Implementation of an Inventory Control System in a Clothing Factory(MSA university Faculty Of Engineering, 2021) Emad Ezzat, Abdelrahman; Mahmoud Shalaby, MohamedM-.Star factory established in 1995 in Benha city, is specialized in production of men’s clothes such as basic and polo shirts, with mass production about 4000 pieces/day, and which pass through different stages from the preparation of raw material process, and dying, until final product. One of the most important ways to enhance production process, is to adapt the quantities of raw materials required to meet the seasonal demands. After visiting the factory’s production line, it was found that the main problem is at the warehouse for storing large quantities of raw materials, which leads to high inventory costs. Sometimes the company faces the problem of storing large quantities of raw materials, for a long time with much money, in case of ordering more than requirements. In other times quantity required of raw material is smaller than the demand in this time, and that lead to cancel some orders, because the delivery time of raw material, will come after the order period. The objective of the project are: Developing a forecasting model for factory for the next year 2021 demands. Developing an economic order quantity (EOQ) for next year. Planning material requirement plan (MRP) for each product. Developing bill of material (BOM) for each product and the amount of its corresponding raw material. Making the aggregate planning for next yearItem Improving the Productivity in Cleopatra Plastic Factory(October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, 2021) Munjed Mahmoud Siyam, Mohammad; Amr Saifeldin Kammal, MohanadCleopatra plastic factory was established in 1988. Located in the industrial zone in 6thof October, it has 30 plastic injection molding machines, each produces a different product. The factory deals with external customers where they give the factory the required molds that they want the factory to inject the plastic in and produce the required demand. In the plastic injection molding process, the raw material goes through steps to create the final product. Firstly, the raw material is manually fed into the injection molding machine, gets melted and injected by the machine into the mold then cooled off and ejaculated. After investigation, it was found that The Factory’s production rate does not meet the demand fulfillment. One of the products produced is the "cooker’s Legs" for Union air Company, which is made from ABS plastic material, the factory current production is 600 presses per 12-hour shift and aiming to increase it to 900/12 hours shift. Brain Tumor segmentation is one of the most crucial and arduous tasks in the terrain of medical image processing as a human-assisted manual classification can result in inaccurate prediction and diagnosis. Moreover, it is an aggravating task when there is a large amount of data present to be assisted. Brain tumors have high diversity in appearance and there is a similarity between tumor and normal tissues and thus the extraction of tumor regions from images becomes unyielding. In this project, a proposed method is used to extract brain tumor from 2D Magnetic Resonance brain Images (MRI) by Convolution Neural Network algorithm which was followed by traditional classifiers and convolutional neural network. The experimental study will be carried on a real-time dataset with diverse tumor sizes, locations, shapes, and different image intensities. The project will be able to detect the brain tumor size and location using the auto encoder technique artificial intelligence image processing for the MRI. Also, the system will classify the brain tumor type from three types (Glioma, Meningioma, and Pituitary). The training dataset is achieved after data collection for 1000 sample for each type for brain tumor. The detection and recognition for the brain tumor is achieved using OpenCV, and Tensorflow software tools. Moreover, the project will be delivered using compact hardware (Raspberry pi 4) as independent device. The results show a detection and recognition accuracy for the human brain tumor with 92% because it yields to a better performance than the traditional onesItem IoT Based Smart Fish Farming Aquaculture Monitoring System(MSA, 2022) Yahya Mahmoud Mohamed, Faisal; Fathy Rashad, HossamAs current human Population is 7.7 billion and growing day by day hence food demand is also increasing accordingly. Fish is a rich source of vitamins, minerals, protein, nutrients and micronutrients. It is an important part of consumer’s diet especially in poor and underdeveloped countries. It is a big challenge for farmer to fulfill market demand with healthy sea food. Aquaculture is a tool to fill gap between of sea food supply and demand. Use of controlled environment production of aquaculture has been increased to a significant level but losses huge due to manual equipment and management failure. Farmers need real time and accurate information to monitor and maximize production potential. Farmers are using traditional techniques and procedures for the aquaculture. By following traditional approach, farmer measure and monitors the water quality, water level, oxygen level and stress level of the aquaculture manually. In this project, we proposed an Internet of Things (IoT) based smart aquaculture model that will measure water quality (pH sensor, water level, color sensor, water temperature, turbidity and DC Motor) for aquaculture. In this project uses low cost and short-range wireless sensors network using IoT network module to monitor aquaculture in real-time. By using this system parameters of water are monitored continuously using a microcontroller IoT board which reduces internet consumption, transmitted data regularly with small latency with error free and ensures survival of aquatic life also ensures the quality of growth and increases the economic benefits of aquaculture.Item IoT Early Flood Detection & Avoidance(MSA, 2022) Amir Maher Yacoub, Mario; Mohamed Abdelrahman Mohamed, OmarFlooding is a natural phenomenon which has attracted global attention as a result of its negative impact on the society. Developing nations such as Egypt have been predicted to experience increased flood occurrences in the coming decade. The events of flooding are unlikely to change, however, its impact on our society can be very well reduced. There are some places that are more prone to flooding than other places, the implementation of flood alert systems near any major water area or body of water provides critical information that can protect property and save lives. Hence, we are designing this project to inform the people about the upcoming flood by making use of the concept of Internet of Things. For that purpose, we are going to use an Web Based Application to intimate the users using IBM Watson platform. This Project focuses on providing early detection of flooding and the measures to minimize and avoid floods. Since a greenhouse is among the finest possibilities for enhancing the autonomously growing technique, experts are working to find ways to enhance the performance of the entire greenhouse. A group of engineering specialties are required for greenhouse design since supported agriculture can be thought of as an integrated engineering challenge. The circumstances inside the greenhouse must be controlled in order to create the best environmental conditions; hence the structure and controller must be sturdy. The design of greenhouses is decided by the environmental factors that must be controlled, how frequently they must be managed, and how lavishly they must be handled relative to the crop's market worth at the time. Different study domains now have fresh prospects thanks to greenhouse technology. The suitable crop’s conditions can be achieved by creating improved greenhouse design and controls, despite the fact that they already exist to address internal and external greenhouse disturbances. The cost of producing crops rises with each environmental parameter that must be controlled, making efficient environmental control design crucial. The purpose of this thesis is to construct a controlled environment system that enables the precise management of those parameters in relation to the crop. Furthermore, greenhouse climate control may be monitored and controlled. using intelligent systems combined with control approaches, in which control operations are primarily designed to withstand both internal and external disruptions. Such control approaches produce superior results. The main components for maintaining ideal climate conditions are greenhouses. Crop growth performance will significantly improve if these variables are optimally controlled. In order to achieve optimal crop development, independent greenhouses have been erected in many parts of the world because non-autonomous greenhouses take a lot of work to produce high-quality crops.Item Improving the Productivity in Cleopatra Plastic Factory(MSA, 2022) Munjed Mahmoud Siyam, Mohammad; Amr Saifeldin Kammal, MohanadCleopatra plastic factory was established in 1988.
