Abstract

M-.Star factory established in 1995 in Benha city, is specialized in production of men’s clothes such as basic and polo shirts, with mass production about 4000 pieces/day, and which pass through different stages from the preparation of raw material process, and dying, until final product. One of the most important ways to enhance production process, is to adapt the quantities of raw materials required to meet the seasonal demands. After visiting the factory’s production line, it was found that the main problem is at the warehouse for storing large quantities of raw materials, which leads to high inventory costs. Sometimes the company faces the problem of storing large quantities of raw materials, for a long time with much money, in case of ordering more than requirements. In other times quantity required of raw material is smaller than the demand in this time, and that lead to cancel some orders, because the delivery time of raw material, will come after the order period. The objective of the project are:  Developing a forecasting model for factory for the next year 2021 demands.  Developing an economic order quantity (EOQ) for next year.  Planning material requirement plan (MRP) for each product.  Developing bill of material (BOM) for each product and the amount of its corresponding raw material.  Making the aggregate planning for next year
