The main purpose of the research is to test the direct and the indirect impact of the academic performance (represented by the academic staff, curriculum and the teaching assistants) on the overall satisfaction of business students in Egyptian private universities. Nowadays, student (customer) satisfaction is regarded as one of the main priorities to face intense competition between the new private universities in Egypt, and to attract high school graduates to join through favorable word of mouth. This is a quantitative study where primary data was collected using self-administered questionnaires from a sample of 1600 students from different business majors and with different GPA levels from four different business faculties in four Egyptian private universities in Greater Cairo. The suggested conceptual model was tested using the Structural Equation Modeling technique and the Lisrel software Ver8.54. Several goodness of fit indices shows the adequacy of the model. Satisfaction with TA’s plays the mediator construct, where it is believed that students depend heavily on teaching assistants. Management of business private Universities in Egypt can make use of the empirical results of this research to enhance their understanding of the factors that impact student satisfaction and thus create differentiation in the provision of the university.en_US
