Flood irrigation is a traditional old method of irrigation in Egypt delta land. This method causes the waste of huge amount of water, in addition it causes damage to the plants and the land due to over irrigation one time and lack of needed water in another time. Managing the water used in irrigation in terms of the quantity of water needed and time of irrigation is the problem addressed in this project. In Egypt Agriculture plays an important role for development in food production in our country Agriculture is depend on rainy season which is not sufficient so the irrigation is used in agriculture field. This project aims to use a smart irrigation system to control water distributed to crops. The system does so by connecting the irrigation system and the user’s Smartphone through the internet of things network (IoT) and automating the process of irrigation with smart phones and micro computing. This research was implemented using a microcontroller, IoT clouding, Temperature sensor, Humidity sensor, Camera sensor, Soil moisture sensor, and water pump through a relay. All these sensors are managed by the microcontroller for watering decision from the mobile application to guarantee the irrigation efficiency.en_US
