Item Investigating factors affecting small business' owner’s decisions to use the electronic payment services (application on the national awareness campaign of the benefits of electronic payment initiated by the Central Bank of Egypt)(MSA UNIVERSITY, 2021) Antonio Martinez Villegas, Ahmed; Ashraf Zarif, Peter; Shokry, JohnPurpose: To investigate factors affecting small business' owner’s decisions to use the electronic payment services (application on the national awareness campaign of the benefits of electronic payment initiated by the Central Bank of Egypt) - Methodology: This research group collected primary data to be able to conduct a self-administered questionnaire. As per primary data, the research made interviews with regards to information related to the e-payment services with three Bank managers to give more insights about the topic and appraised the findings of the questionnaire among 150 participants. Also, the research used secondary data in the literature review and took questions from pasts researches to investigate factors affecting small business' owner’s decisions to use the electronic payment services. The questionnaire was designed in both English and Arabic both and both versions are identical. With regards to the topic and service it is necessary to hand out the questionnaire in Arabic so respondents could be able to easily comprehend and understand the questions thus answering the questionnaire effectively and with ease. The findings of the study were obtained using IBM’s statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) - Findings: In this research the researchers found that there is a moderate positive relationship between perceived usefulness and the SME owner’s decision to use e-payment service. Moreover, there is a positive relationship between perceived ease of use and the SME owner’s decision to use e-payment service. On the other hand, there is a negative relationship between perceived risk and the SME owner’s decision to use. - Implications: To investigate factors affecting small business' owner’s decisions to use the electronic payment services in our days is very important. To be able to know the best possible means necessary for the electronic payment to succeed and hence making more people thought Egypt us it. To know how they feel about the service form all aspects.
