Item Multi systems in vehicle for accident prevention(MSA, 2022) Mohamed, Moustafa; Saye, SaraaDrivers make mistakes all the time. Unfortunately, those mistakes can cause serious car accidents, truck accidents, motor accidents that can cause serious injuries and sometimes even deaths mainly due to human error. If more motor vehicles featured technology that essentially corrected driver errors, we would reduce the death rate and human injuries. This paper presents the initial outcomes of ongoing research to improve the safety of smart vehicle and minimize the risk of road collision. This paper is focused on the development of the anti-collision system. In this report, a safety system for preventing car accidents is introduced. Applying the proposed technique on the smart cars results in a significant reduction in car accidents, and driver’s mistakes that happens on daily base. The Anti-collision system consists of subsystems: microcontrollers (Raspberry pi and atmega 16) were used as a head of this system, camera with image processing technology. Ultrasonic sensors in front as obstacle detection. The system is a network of sensors utilizing the near real time embedded system. The proposed system is going to be tested indoor using off- shelf mini vehicle model and further field test have been planned to ensure the operability of the system in relevant applications. Research is still undertaken to develop the traffic and objects detection systems. some activities have been taken to control the speed system of the vehicle at an imminent collision
