Firstly, medication shortages are pervasive, stemming from limited access to pharmaceutical supplies, inefficient distribution networks, and financial constraints. These shortages often lead to stock outs of essential medications, forcing healthcare providers to make difficult decisions about prioritizing patient care and compromising treatment outcomes. Secondly, inadequate storage infrastructure and environmental conditions contribute to medication spoilage and degradation, rendering medications ineffective or even harmful to patients. Improper storage facilities exacerbate these issues, particularly in regions with harsh climates or limited resources for maintaining optimal storage conditions. Thirdly, manual medication dispensing processes are error-prone and lack accountability, resulting in medication errors, adverse drug reactions, and preventable harm to patients. Without robust systems in place to ensure accurate dispensing and administration, healthcare facilities face significant risks to patient safety and quality of care. Finally, the lack of data-driven decision-making further complicates medication management efforts, hindering healthcare facilities' ability to anticipate demand, optimize inventory levels, and allocate resources efficiently. Without access to timely and accurate data on medication usage patterns, expiration dates, and supply chain dynamics, healthcare providers struggle to make informed decisions about medication procurement, distribution, and utilization. Overall, the multifaceted challenges surrounding medication management in resource-constrained healthcare settings underscore the urgent need for innovative solutions that can address medication shortages, storage inadequacies, dispensing errors, and data management deficiencies to improve healthcare outcomes and ensure patient safety.Item Smart Pet Collar Management System(October University for Modern Sciences and Arts MSA, 2025) Abdullah Elhussein Mohamed
