dc.description.abstractPurpose: The purpose of this research is to investigate the factors affecting the customer purchase intention of electric cars applied on the Egyptian customers. Methodology: In this research, the researchers used the two types of data which are secondary, and primary data to collect more information and complete this study successfully, for the secondary data the researchers used previous articles to measure the relationship between TAM model and consumer's purchase intention, and for the primary data, the researchers conducted in-depth interview with experts, and assessing the results of the conducted online questionnaires among 272 participants , and the results of this study was conducted by using IBM’s statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) Findings: In this research the researchers found that there is a positive relationship between customer purchase intention of electric cars and perceived usefulness and there is a positive relationship between customer purchase intention of electric cars and the perceived ease of use, but they found there is no relationship between perceived risk and the customer purchase intention to the electric cars. Implications: Investigating the intention of consumers to buy electric cars in Egypt is very important nowadays for marketers to keep the environment without pollution. To know well how consumers think and feel about electric cars, as well as to know the aspects that consumers have taken into account when considering the purchase of an electric car such as usefulness, ease of use or risk, as well as knowing how to attract them using the right tools in marketing campaigns.
