A developed parallel generational copying garbage collection scheme has been proposed, implemented, and evaluated. This developed scheme is based on concentrating the collection efforts on small areas of memory, which are called young generation. Load balancing among workers has been included. The scheme is implemented in two versions; the first version supports real-time, the second version doesn't support real-time response. A comparative study between this developed scheme and a parallel non-generational copying garbage collection scheme has been done. This comparative study proved that the performance of generational schemes is better than the performance of non-generational schemes.en_US
