Computations of some integrals involving logarithmic function with some thermodynamical applications

Abstract

In this paper, the derivatives of the hypergeometric functions with respect to parameters are employed to give explicit forms for some integrals involving logarithmic function. In an application to Laguerre ensemble, the usefulness of these forms is illustrated. (C) 2011 Physics Essays Publication.
