Item Photorealistic Food Augmented Reality(MSA university Faculty of Computer Science, 2020) Kamal, Tukaa Hany AhmedThe proposed system for visualize 3d model for food on any plane in environment, to be user friendly and easy to use. And users can see the food 3d model like real food and see this with clear view of item size, texture, ingredients and clear presentation, and be useful for any place served food. So we started to work unity version that supported the augmented reality. Then we need in this project to collect data, so we were searching for 3d models for food. So first we found chicken 3d model then we applied on chicken 3d model the same functionality we applied before (rotating , scaling) programmatically using c sharp script . And next step we were searching to new 3d models to apply on those models materials to give those modes more realistic texture and good quality so we found 3d model and applied on this 3d model some materials manual. Then we were searching for a lot dishes and glasses 3d models to apply more than one material. Programmatically to give 3d models more realistic and good quality by using c sharp script. And next phase we were founding new 3d model “shesh tawok” and plate 3d model and we applied fixed joint. Then applied rotate and scale programmatically and finally applied materials manual to give this 3d model more realistic and high quality. Proposed system achievement many functions, proposed system achieve rotating and scaling programmatically and achieve apply materials programmatically and manual and achieve to apply fixed joint manual. Then we achieve to display augmented reality 3d cube from mobile phone to any plane in environment. And apply ray casting programmatically on food 3d model. But some functions didn’t developments because some issues, so we tried to apply fixed joint programmatically but it didn’t development. But this proposed system can impact many benefits .In any place serves food this proposed system is user friendly and easy to use and guests in any place serves food can see any dish 3D and see all ingredients in good quality and clear presentation.
