Item Infrared Spectroscopy of Cupric Oxide Doped Barium Phosphate Glass(RJPBCS RESEARCH JOURNAL PHARMACEUTICAL, BIOLOGICAL & CHEMICAL SCIENCES, RJPBCS RESEARCH JOURNAL PHARMACEUTICAL, 2015-06) Rashad, M. M; El Basaty, A. B; Elbashar, Y. H; Rayan, D. ACuO powders were doped with barium phosphate glass with a series of xCuO-(20 - x) BaO-30ZnO-10Na(2)O-40P(2)O(5) in molar ratio with (x = 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12) were prepared by conventional quenching melts technique. FTIR transmission spectra have been carried out. The most active peaks were observed in the region from 450 cm(-1) to 1700 cm(-1). FT-IR spectra were analyzed to determine and differentiate the various vibrational modes by applying a deconvolution method to the FT-IR spectra. The density has been measured by the conventional Archimedes method, molar volume were calculated and found the density and molar volume are trend in the same direction by increases the CuO contents.Item Structural and Optical Characterization of Chemically Deposited PbS Thin Films(Springer, 2017-11) El Basaty, A. B; Eid, E. A; Ahmed, S; Abd El-Khalek, H. M; Marzook, M.; Fouda, A. NPbS thin films were deposited on glass substrates by a chemical bath depositionmethod. The effect of varying the film thickness on the structural and optical properties has been investigated. XRD analysis reveals the crystallinity of the deposited PbS films with (200) preferred crystal orientation. Increasing the film thickness enhances the crystallinity of the films as well as decreases the strain and dislocation density. The surface morphology features were dramatically changed from small spherical grains to bead-like shape. The absence of impurities in the deposited films was confirmed by energy dispersive x-ray spectrometry (EDX) measurements. The optical constants of the deposited films were calculated and a small decrease in the band gap energy was observed with increasing the film thickness.
