    Impact of Egyptian Social Entrepreneurial Services on the Health Sector (Applied on Baheya Foundation for Early Detection & Treatment of Breast Cancer)

    Purpose: The aim of this research is to examine the impact of social entrepreneurs' activities on the Health Sector Development in order to determine the importance of social entrepreneurial activities. Methodology: We researchers have used two means of data in our research which are primary and secondary data this was necessary in order to collect a sufficient amount of data needed to successfully complete our study. The primary data we collected was from the In-depth interviews we held with the expert at Baheya Foundation "Mr. Maged Hamdy" who's one of the organization's main founders and after analyzing the outcomes of this interview our hypotheses were supported, in addition we have initiated interviews with a couple of the cancer survivors who have been treated at the facility, they have provided us with viable information backing up our hypotheses, furthermore we distributed around 160 surveys among participants in the health sector affiliated with social entrepreneurs, which were Baheya Foundation and 57357 Hospital, we finally analyzed the data collected using IBM's Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) Findings: After conducting our research we have concluded that there is a positive significance between social entrepreneurs' activities and all three variables associated with our independent variable, which were the socio-economic sustainable development, job opportunities and health sector development. Implications: It is quite important for social entrepreneurs to study the health sector effectively before deciding on participating in projects in addition to examining other under-developed sectors in a country in order to efficiently allocate resources.

    Investigating factors affecting Egyptian citizen intention to switch from electricity mechanical meters to electronic digital meters

    Purpose – The purpose of this research is to measure the switching intention of citizens from the old electric meter to the new digital electric meter of both gender and how does the characteristics, ease of use and perceived risks can affect the citizens switching intention to the new digital meter and how can they see these factors can change their opinions about the switching intention. Methodology – The researchers used secondary data for collecting more information about the research topic and they used primary data for the purpose of measuring the relationship between the variables by stating the result conducting from asking 177 in form of questionnaires that are composed of 126 males and 51 females and these data were conducted by using the IBM’s statistical package for the social science (SPSS) Findings – The researchers found that there is a positive and a significant relationship between the consumer characteristics and switching intention, ease of use and switching intention and perceived risks and switching intention. Implications – The reason behind this research was to investigate important factors so that decision makers know how to encourage Egyptian citizens to switch to the new digital meter. This research studies the factors affecting the citizens switching intention from the old electric meter to the new electric digital meter.
