Real Time Bus locations and driver behavior Tracking Android Mobile Application for MSA University

Abstract

In recent years , the improvement of mobile development techniques leads to the availability of a variety of mobile applications in the store , number of people who use android smartphones is in increase everyday so android apps development is in growth with huge percentages compared to other operating systems , android applications can be used in smart phones, tablets . hundreds of android apps are available in play store with different categories and purposes , this project aims to develop an android application for bus locations and driver behavior tracking to help students and staff track bus locations which will based on the usage of global positioning system (GPS) and know the expected time of arrival moreover , the proposed application tracks and records the driver behavior on road like speed and unexpected stops providing a feedback to buses supervisors about every driver behavior , the supervisors can view a list of all drivers and their information ( driver name , route , speed , unexpected stops , arriving time to the university ) on the road by two ways map view and table view
