Abstract

A 45-years-old male patient came to the outpatient clinic, MSA university complaining from difficulty of chewing and non-esthetic smile. Clinical examination revealed: • multiple remaining roots #11 #26 #37 #45 #46 #47 • multiple edentulous spaces, extensive decay in tooth number #12 #13 #21 #24 #34. • Plaque and calculus deposits including moderate chronic periodontitis at lower incisors • chronic mild periodontitis at the lower lateral and canine teeth. • Generalized plaque induced gingivitis at upper teeth is also seen on periodontal examination. After patient agreement on the proposed treatment plane, open and close sinus lift surgeries followed by implants and full coverage crowns in addition to restoration of carious teeth were caried out. The patient was followed up for 6 months postoperatively. The patient was extremely satisfied with the functional and esthetic rehabilitation performed. Posterior bone height was restored with a simple technique followed by implants. The patient’s smile restored using zirconia crowns.
