Phase shifter antenna array for Autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Tracking system
(MSA, 2022) Mohamed Shawky Ahmed, Omar
This project represents an antenna array using phase-shifting technology. Phase shifter antennas can scan a whole area by their radiation pattern. This scanning is done electronically without a physical movement of the antenna. This project aims to design and implement a compact 180-degree phase shifter antenna array, which is suitable to be mounted on a drone and with a range of 15 m. A phased array typically means a scanned arrayed array in antenna theory, a computerised antenna array that generates an electronically directed radio wave beam in various directions without moving the antenna. The phase shifter antennas have many applications like radars, broadcasting and satellites. In other words, phase shifter antennas are used in scanning and tracking applications.
