(October University For Modern Sciences and Arts, 2022) Mohamed Younis, Ibrahim; Emad Philip, Mark; Khaled, Sarah; Mahmoud Gamal Eldin, Sara
This research aims to investigate the impact of financial risk management on financial performance of commercial banks in Egypt. An empirical analysis was applied on nine commercial banks listed on egyptian stock exchange index (EGX100), during the period from 2017 till 2021. The independent variable was financial risk management, measured by credit risk, liquidity risk, market risk and operational risk. The dependent variable was financial performance, measured by return on asset (ROA) and return on equity (ROE). The results showed that there is a significant relationship between credit risk, liquidity risk and market risk and financial performance, while there is an insignificant relationship between operational risk and financial performance.
