    A comparative study of the financial performance of Islamic, conventional, and mixed banks

    The primary goal of this study is to examine independent variables, liquidity risk, capital adequacy, assets quality, operation efficiency and bank size have any impact on banks performance. This study's sample is made up of 90 observations from 9 banks listed on the EGX30, spanning the years 2015 to 2019. The empirical research showed that some of variables have significant impact which are asset quality and operational efficiency and other haven't according to authors which are liquidity and capital adequacy, where some variables have negative and other have positive impact on performance of Islamic and conventional banks Keywords: banks performance, liquidity risk, capital adequacy, assets quality, operation efficiency, Islamic banks, conventional banks
