dc.description.abstract	In this chapter, we introduce the concept of an electric field associated with a variety of charge distributions. We follow that by introducing the concept of an electric field in terms of Faraday’s electric field lines. In addition, we study the motion of a charged particle in a uniform electric field.	en_US
