A low cost, single layer and easily fabricated design is achieved with a peak gain of 8.4 dBi. The simulated and measured results showed satisfying parameters enhancing this design to be used at millimetre wave frequencies for short-range wireless communication applications, such as 5G applications and V-band applications. 2017 IEEE.English5g technologyAntennaMicrostripMillimeter wave5G mobile communication systemsAntennasFabricationFrequency bandsMillimeter wavesWireless telecommunication systemsBroad-band antennaLow costsMeasured resultsMicrostripesMillimeter-wave antennasMillimetre wavesShort-range wireless communication applicationSingle layerMicrowave antennasPharaonic ankh-key millimeter wave broadband antenna design and fabrication for 5g applicationsConference Paperhttps://doi.org/10.1109/APUSNCURSINRSM.2017.8073336
