Item Biosynthesis and characterization of gold nanoparticles from natural plant extract(October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, 2020) Emam, Mahmoud Sayed AyatNanotechnology is considered as one of the interesting fields that is fast-growing worldwide and has an impact on innovation capabilities. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPS) showed various biomedical applications in recent years. Different physical, chemical techniques have been reported for its toxicity in the synthesis of Gold nanoparticles (AuNPS) while the green synthesis method is the safest due to it build on materials less toxic and eco-friendly. Therefore, the current study aimed to use the parsley (Petroselinum crispum) leaves extract in order to synthesis AuNPs by a simple eco-friendly method. Different four volume ratios of plant were used named AuNPs(A), AuNPs(B), AuNPs(C), and AuNPs(D), respectively. The produced NPs were characterized using UV–vis spectroscopy while the structural and morphological of the formed NPs was performed via high resolution transmission electron microscope (TEM), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), dynamic light scattering (DLS) as well as zeta potential. The TEM images taken for the formed NPS revealed the formation of particles with average size around 25 nm possessing semi-spherical shapes. Furthermore, the surface Plasmon resonance appeared at 530 nm. The detection of zeta potential at value less than -30 mV indicts the NPS stability.
